Jamie Fahrney

Research Cheesemaker

Jamie comes to CDR with more than 45 years of experience as a cheesemaker. He is a Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker with certifications in Limburger, Swiss, Baby Swiss and Brick. Jamie has a strong connection to Wisconsin cheesemaking; he was hired by Albert Deppeler, who is known for the development of Baby Swiss. Jamie was also mentored by Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker Myron Olson. As a research cheesemaker at CDR, he assists with all aspects of cheesemaking and is involved with cheese trials and troubleshooting.
