Valeria Rizzi

Sensory Coordinator

As sensory coordinator, Valeria leads CDR’s sensory analysis of food projects, with an emphasis on cheese and dairy ingredients in support of industry and internal applications research. She has a Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology from Texas A&M University. Valeria has also completed a sensory internship in Ferrero S.P.A. in Alba, Italy where she helped conduct shelf studies, designed and administered sensory tests for product improvement and development. Valeria is well-versed in the different sensory techniques, such as descriptive analyses, consumer testing, and discriminative testing.
