Dairy Basics- Microbiology Laboratory Techniques

This workshop will provide the techniques for conducting microbiological testing in the dairy laboratory. Learn different methods to test for quality indicators (including coliforms, standard plate count, and yeast and molds) and safety-related microorganisms for ingredients, finished products and environmental samples. Hear about the components needed for a quality dairy micro laboratory and what the future might look like. Geared towards those new in the laboratory or new to the dairy industry.
