Food Safety Workshop (HACCP) Online

May 5-6, 2021 • $300

Food Safety (HACCP) is a two-day online workshop designed to cover an introduction to HACCP in a plant setting. A variety of topics include the potential of dairy plant hazards, prerequisites, validation of HACCP plans, implementing HACCP, and regulations. This workshop will include breakout exercises including the design and modification of flow diagrams.

This workshop is open to all dairy and food processors, suppliers and regulators who wish to learn or review the basics of HACCP in a dairy plant. The exercises in the workshop will allow attendees to create or modify flow diagrams of particular dairy products.

The class will be delivered via teleconference (Zoom) both days. All of the material for the class and the lecture recordings will be available online after the live calls. You can also communicate with the instructors and the rest of the class outside of lecture times through the Discussion forums in Canvas, our online learning management system. Lectures and materials will be available online until June 15, 2021. Registration cancellation will result in a $100 fee to cover administrative costs relating to course organization.
