Specific CDP course information:
This is an online “live” course. Ahead of the course start date, you will receive additional information via email regarding your individual access to the online portal. The online, live classes for this course are scheduled for Mondays – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. CST starting Monday, March 3, 2025 concluding Monday, May 19, 2025. The link to the live class sessions and class recordings will be available in your online portal following each class.

Your project is due 1 month after the last online session, by Monday, June 16, 2025. A project and quizzes are required to be considered “complete” for this course, and you are encouraged to work with a mentor* who is experienced in the dairy industry. Your access to the online materials will close 1 month after the last online class. You will receive a printed booklet of the presentation materials to the mailing address you provide during registration.

Course Description
This online dairy industry training program is focused on training dairy plant workers and operators to obtain a clear understanding of dairy plant processes. The course includes a variety of instructors from CDR educating on a wide range of dairy products and processing topics with the goal of training participants on the basic aspects of dairy processing. This course includes 11 weekly online, live classes that are recorded and available for your view throughout the duration of the course. This is intended to be an interactive, online course where participation, discussion, and questions are encouraged! CDP module content.

Participant Expectations

  • Attend and participate in 11 weekly online, live two-hour sessions.
  • View recorded sessions if you miss a live session, or review to enhance your learning.
  • Learn and apply the module content CDP module content presented weekly, and available via online recordings.
  • Ask questions and engage with instructors between modules as needed.
  • Test your working knowledge by completing quizzes after each module.
  • Engage with a mentor* who has experience in the dairy industry.
  • Complete a course project related to your current work by June 16, 2025.

Online participants will receive an electronic certificate when all course components are complete and by August 1, 2025. Electronic certificates are emailed to the address used during registration.
